Liliana Rodriguez Hill was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2006. She currently lives and works in Dublin, Ohio. Her artworks explore the themes of family, growing up, and changing identity. She uses her immediate family as inspiration and references for her pieces. Her Mexican culture influences her work through different themes of close-knit family and vibrant, warm colors.
While in high school, Liliana received numerous awards for her art. During her sophomore year, one of her pieces was published in Dublin Scioto’s literary magazine, “The Oracle.” In her junior year, Liliana received first place in the Worthington Library’s art show, had two pieces published in “The Oracle,” and one of her works was accepted into the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition’s Regional show. Her most decorated year was her senior year, where she received an “Honorable Mention” in the Worthington Library’s show and was accepted into Otterbein University’s 5th Annual Juried High School Art Exhibition. She also had two works accepted into the Dublin Arts Council’s “Emerging 2024,” one of which won “Best Technical Skill.” The cherry on top of her senior year was having four out of five entries accepted into the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition; one in the Regional show and three in the State show.
In college, Liliana has (so far) had five pieces accepted into Otterbein’s Annual Juried Student Art Show across 2025 and 2026. In 2025, she received an “Honorable Mention” for one of her three pieces. In 2026, she received the “Best in Show” award. Liliana worked as a student curator for Otterbein’s 7th Annual Juried High School Art Exhibition.
